Essity to invest in new paper recycling plant at UK Prudhoe facility

Essity plans to build a new waste paper recycling plant at its Prudhoe factory in the UK and further reduce the use of virgin wood pulp in products such as toilet paper. Essity plans to replace the factory's original 50-year-old waste paper recycling workshop with a new workshop equipped with the latest recycling equipment to reduce energy costs and increase the company's ability to utilize recycled fibers.
